A community dinner will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the Fellowship Hall at Rogersville United Methodist Church. The menu will include spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and drink. The dinner is free, but donations will be accepted. Carryout is available. For information, call 724-499-5159 or 724-499-5385.
Carmichaels Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween Paradem will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in the town square. All children ages birth through 12 years will line up at Yoskovich Funeral Home Parking lot beginning at 1:30. Treat bags will be provided to all children in costume and prizes will be awarded in various categories.
The Monessen Amphitheater Committee’s 5th Annual Trunk or Treat will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Monessen City Park. Residents and organizations wishing to have a car at the event should email monessenamphitheater@gmail.com to register in advance (recommended, but not required). Prizes will be awarded for best costumes (children and adults) and best decorated car. This is a free event.
