Peters Township Newcomers and Neighbors will hold its annual kick-off event at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at Valley Brook Country Club. Bring a friend to mingle, meet new people and hear about the group’s activities. Attendees do not have to be a Peters resident or new to the area. Hors d’oeuvres and cake will be provided, and there will be a cash bar. Checks and cash will be accepted for raffle tickets to win baskets, the 50/50 raffle and silent auction. Peters Township Newcomers and Neighbors is a not-for-profit women’s civic and social organization that holds a variety of activities, including book club, bunco, crafts, fitness, wine tasting, luncheons, couple’s socials and more.
