Caroline Hughes, the Rev. Theodore M. Hesburgh, C.S.C. Westmoreland Woodlands Improvement Association will meet on Thursday, April 18, in the J. Roy Houston Conservation Center (the Westmoreland Conservation District Barn, behind the Donohoe Center) at 218 Donohoe Road in Greensburg. Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. A free potluck dinner will follow at 6. Dinner is free, but reservations are appreciated for the food order. Bentleyville Lions Club’s 5th Annual Spring Basket Bash will be held on Saturday, April 13, at the Bentleyville Fire Hall. More than 100 raffle baskets will be on display at 11 a.m. Tickets to the event are $25, which includes 25 basket raffle tickets and lunch by Hog Fathers from 1 to 2:30 p.m. when baskets will be pulled. Tickets must be purchased in advance at The Bentleyville Medicine Shoppe, from any Bentleyville Lion, Dr. Stoupis D.M.D.’s office or by calling 724-258-3776. Winners must be present. There will also be games of chance, a 50/50 raffle and a disc jockey. Proceeds benefit the Bentleyville Lion’s Club.
Presbyterian SeniorCare Network and Walk for a Healthy Community Committee will host a spring vendor and craft show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 26, in Hillview Chapel located at 835 South Main Street, Washington. Vendor set-up fee is $25 along with a $20-$25 value gift basket for the Chinese auction. All proceeds from the event will benefit the residents within Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. Make checks payable to Presbyterian SeniorCare Foundation and mail to: Karen Bushmire, 880 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301. Include contact name and phone number, indicate if a table is needed, and what type of items you will be selling (cash and carry items are suggested). Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Chartiers Township Community Center will hold a drop-in line dancing class from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10. No registration is necessary. Practice old dances and learn new steps including country, Latin, oldies, soul and contemporary. A new six-week session begins Wednesday, April 17. Cost is $30 for six classes; drop ins during the six-week session pay $8. Beginners and experienced dancers welcome.
