WCCF EITC contributions

Washington County Community Foundation Director of Development and Public Relations Aliesha Walz accepted Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) contributions totaling $7,000 from First Commonwealth Bank Financial Solutions Center Manager Ryan Hall at the Trinity Point location. A gift of $5,000 was designated for the ESO Fund, which awards scholarships to needy families for non-public kindergarten through grade 12 programs via the Commonwealth’s EITC program. Additionally, a gift of $2,000 was designated to the EPK Fund, which awards EITC scholarships to needy families for qualifying preschool (prekindergarten) programs. To date, First Commonwealth Bank has contributed a total of $56,000 to WCCF education programs.
