State association honors Community Bank

1 min read

Community Bank is a Hometown Champion.

The North Franklin Township-based bank has been honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers through its Community Banking Hometown Champions program. The association acknowledges banks that are committed to providing significant service to communities.

Member banks provide the PACB with a summary of how they impact and support communities, and the entries are evaluated. Community Bank was honored for its work in Southwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio through its Community Bank Cares program. The bank was honored at the PACB Region I meeting March 26.

Patrick O’Brien, the bank’s president and chief executive officer, said in a statement: “The people of the tri-state area are very generous and give back to their communities in many ways. Similarly, one of the primary attributes of all community banks is the profound way in which we give back to the communities that we serve.”
