Penn State Extension will offer Cooking for Crowds: A Volunteers Guide to Safe Food Handling Saturday, May 11, at the Ernest E. Jobe American Legion, 513 Meldon Avenue in Donora. A Mother’s Day Tea, part of the Sunday Brunch Series presented by Woodville Plantation, will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 12, in the Stillhouse. Brunch will be served from 11 to 11:30 a.m. followed by the lecture “A History of Tea” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and Q&A from 12:15 to 12:30.
