Basey – 50 years
Alexander and Linda Basey of Daisytown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at The Back Porch in Speers. The couple also took a trip to Finger Lakes and Niagara Falls in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Basey were married December 28, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Their children are Kathleen Taylor of Hampton, Tenn., Andrea (Jason) Mock of Scenery Hill, and Lauren (Adam) Ferkatch of Lower Burrell.
They have four grandchildren: Cody and Dustin Mock, and Bobbi May and Jaxson Ferkatch.
Mr. Basey is retired from Corning. Mrs. Basey retired from the home health care field. Both attend Blainesburg Bible Church.
