First Federal of Greene names Trump CEO
Charles W. Trump Jr. is the new chief executive officer of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County.
Trump, a 20-year employee of the association, succeeds Judi Goodwin Tanner, who has been president and CEO since 2012. She will remain as president until her retirement in April 2020.
The Waynesburg-based association announced the changes Jan. 23 at its annual membership meeting.
A resident of Fairchance, Fayette County, Trump is the current board secretary. He and his wife, Shelly, have two daughters, Elizabeth and Kimberly.
Most recently, he was executive vice president/secretary for two years, following seven years as a vice president who oversaw deposit operations, marketing and security. Trump joined the association in 1999 as a loan officer in Morgantown, W.Va.
He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business administration from Waynesburg University.
Also at last week’s meeting, directors Greg Parsons, Jay Hammers and Tanner were re-elected to three-year terms. The board also is composed of: John Mariner, chairman; Henry Cochran; Murray Hoy; Stephen Neubauer; and directors emeritus James Brewer and Scott O’Neil.
Tanner, Trump and the following association officers were re-elected: Chad M. Moore, senior vice president/treasurer; Courtney A. Schroyer, vice president/chief financial officer; vice presidents Barbara L. Galica, Cynthia A. Crouse and Jeffrey B. Widdup; Danielle R. Tobusto, assistant secretary/assistant treasurer; Kathleen M. Toth, assistant secretary; and Terry L. Clutter, assistant treasurer.
First Federal of Greene also announced it had $917 million in assets in 2018, an all-time high.
The association has been in business since 1924 and has nine offices. Eight are in Greene, Fayette and Washington counties. It also has a loan origination subsidiary, First Greene Service Corporation, in Morgantown.
