Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club helping those in need

The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club recently collected hats, underwear, socks and gloves for children through the Hugs&Kisses Program. The club donated what it received to the Waynesburg Salvation Army.
The Civic Club also participated in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Pennsylvania Signature Project: Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention “Step Up Against Abuse” Sock Contest.
Club members donated 212 pairs of new socks to the Domestic Violence Center in Waynesburg. The Civic Club also donated toiletries, laundry detergent and diapers to the Domestic Violence Center.
