CFGC fall grants
The Community Foundation of Greene County (CFGC) announced a distribution of nine grants totaling more than $11,700 as part of CFGC’s 2018 fall grant distribution. The distributions represent grants from the CFGC Forever Greene Fund, the CONSOL Energy Excellence in Education Fund and the Daniel and Lizzie Tharp Fund. Grants from the Forever Greene Fund include: Blueprints – Vehicle Repair Fund; Blueprints – Early Childhood Literacy Event; Carmichaels Area School District – Living History in the Classroom; Dress for Success Pittsburgh – Mobile Suiting/Washington Branch; Greater Waynesburg Christian Outreach – Summer Day Camp Program; Intermediate Unit 1 Educational Campus at Waynesburg – Outdoor Classroom & Wetlands Preservation Project; West Greene School District – Elementary STEM & HS English/Language Arts; Southeastern Greene School District – Dash Into World of Technology; West Greene School District – Trout in the Classroom Project.
