Claysville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is selling Italian hoagies for $4 each. The order deadline is Thursday, June 6. Call Barb at 724-663-7353. Orders will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at the fire hall, 154 Main St.
The Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc. is sponsoring its annual Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 7 on the grounds of Monongahela Valley Hospital. This year’s festival will feature a variety of gift and food vendors. Some food vendors have limited time frames and are scheduled 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. In addition, you can purchase pepperoni rolls, strawberry garden salad with grilled chicken and strawberry shortcake. Flowers and plants from Joseph’s Nursery and Garden Center will also be available for purchase. Patrons receive free parking with purchase. Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, 480 Route 519, Eighty Four, will host the “84 Marketplace-Summer Event” vendor and craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8. Lunch will be available for purchase. There also will be a Chinese auction and bake sale. For information, call 724-222-7488.
