Senior care workers plan informational picket Monday
Caregivers at McMurray Hills Manor in Peters Township have organized an informational picket at two different times Monday.
The pickets will take place outside their senior care facility, at 249 W. McMurray Road, from 8 to 9 a.m. then 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
About 100 employees, represented by Service Employees International Union Healthcare Pennsylvania, are in contract talks. Workers include licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, dietary personnel and housekeepers.
