Alexander Hirst, son of Deacon and Mrs. Jeffrey Hirst of Canonsburg, was named to the dean’s list at California University of Pennsylvania for his sophomore year. He is studying criminal justice. Alexander is a graduate of Bishop Canevin High School.

Zachary Ecker, son of Roger and Diane Ecker of Washington and grandson of Alice Shalosky of Houston, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Allegheny College, where he is studying biology (pre-med). The Trinity Area High School graduate completed his freshman year with a 4.0 grade-point average and also played on the men’s basketball team.

Jeffrey Ecker, son of Roger and Diane Ecker of Washington and grandson of Alice Shalosky of Houston, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Penn State-Schreyer Honors College, where he is studying economics (pre-law). The Trinity Area High School graduate was a member of the mock trial team and completed his freshman year with a 4.0 grade-point average.
