Jefferson College Historical Society will hold its second Canonsburg Show and Tell on Sunday, March 10, at the Canonsburg Elks Lodge located at 600 Ridge Avenue. Doors open at 1 p.m. with the program following at 2. Bring old Canonsburg items – advertising, pottery, uniforms, photographs – and share the history of the town. Items from the Jefferson College Historical Society Museum will be on display. For information, visit the Facebook page @jeffersoncollegehistoricalsociety.

The Canonsburg UP Church’s Active Christian Seniors group will offer a daytrip on Tuesday, May 14. “Boxcar Escapades on Horseshoe Curve” will include a train ride with a hobo guide. Relive history at the Railroaders Museum, shop the Boyer’s Candy and Benzel’s Pretzel outlets, and end the day at Oak Spring Winery. Lunch is included. Cost is $129 per person, with reservation and half of the payment due by March 4. To make a reservation, call 724-745-0800.
