St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 601 Boone Avenue, Canonsburg, will hold its Easter bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13. Advance orders are being taken for nut, poppy and apricot rolls. To place an order, call 724-743-0231 by March 24.

Harvey’s Grange, Graysville, will offer free craft classes at 2 p.m. Sundays, March 24 and April 28. Advance registration is required for ordering supplies. To register, call Mary Jane Kent at 724-710-0470 or Becky Davis at 724-710-1257.

The New Freeport Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary will hold a country music night from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 9, featuring Country Sounds from 7 to 8:30 and Ben Tharp from 8:30 to 10. Admission is $5.

Greene County Pomona Grange will meet on Saturday, March 9, at the East Franklin Grange Hall located south of Waynesburg on Route 218. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and include a program under the direction of the Lecturer Mary Jane Kent. A covered dish luncheon will follow the meeting.

Harvey’s Grange, Graysville, will hold cinch tournaments on Saturdays, March 9 and 23, and April 13 and 27. Registration begins at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available.

Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, in the Amwell Township Municipal Building. The executive board will meet at 6:15. Bracken Burns will present “The Irish of America.”

The First United Methodist Church will offer $5 lunches from noon to 1 p.m. every Wednesday for five weeks, March 13-April 10. In addition to lunch, there will be a different minister each week giving a meditation concerning Lent. The church is located at the corner of Beau and College streets in Washington.
