McDaniel – 60 years
Gene and Kathy McDaniel of Washington will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Union Grill.
Mr. and Mrs. McDaniel were married March 27, 1959, in Winchester, Va.
They have three sons, Craig (Sue) and Kurt (Denise), both of Washington, and Bret (Monica) of Austin, Texas.
They have six grandchildren, Elizabeth Meerdo, Justin McDaniel, Sara Staab, and Ryan, Evan and Austin McDaniel, and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. McDaniel retired as a sales representative from International Paper Company. He enjoys hunting with his grandsons and W.V.U. Mountaineer sports.
Mrs. McDaniel is a homemaker and was employed part-time at Washington Square Flower Shop.
Both are active members of Laboratory Presbyterian Church.
