Washington Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 901 N. Main St., holds free healthy cooking demonstrations and tastings every second Tuesday of the month. The next event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. May 21. The theme will be “An Evening in Asia.” Check it out on Facebook at Saving Health for the Family.

The Martha Washington Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. May 21 at First Lutheran Church, 92 W. Walnut St., Washington. Note the new location due to the election. Betty Bedillion will offer a workshop on making bows. There will also be a seed and plant exchange; please bring some to share.

Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Flyers Club at Washington County Airport. Mark Marietta will present his program on “Mirror Images and Andrea Mosaic Techniques.” This will be the final opportunity to submit prints for the annual Breidenbach Print Competition.
