Retired Ringgold High School social studies teacher and coach Scott Frederick will speak about “The 1954 Monongahela Pony League World Championship” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the monthly meeting of the Monongahela Area Historical Society. The meeting will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The event is free and open to the public, and parking will be available in the church lot. A brief members-only meeting will precede the presentation at 6:30.
