Dille – 70 years
George and Gerry Dille celebrated 70 years of marriage at a luncheon with family, friends and their church family. The celebration took place Sunday, May 19, at Laboratory Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Dille were married May 22, 1949, at Laboratory Presbyterian Church in Washington.
They have four children, Debra Humble, Dee Dille, Dana (Laura) Dille, and the late Daryl Dille and daughter-in-law Tressie Gable.
They have four granchildren, Kari Joyner, Jodi (Aleck) Kerns, Dan Dille and Michael (Camelia) Dille; three stepgrandchildren, Jeff, Jennifer and Justin Gentile; three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Aleah Kerns, Addison Joyner; and stepgreat-grandson Colton Gentile.
Mr. Dille retired from Washington Steel. Along with being a homemaker, Mrs. Dille worked at JCPenney and ROTC at Washington and Jefferson College.
