Speers food distribution set for Friday
Fourth Street Foods of Speers will distribute free food at Mon Valley Career & Technology Center Friday to help local families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The effort plans to distribute 500 boxes of food in a drive-through “truck-to-trunk” operation from 2 to 6 p.m. at the school at 5 Guttman Ave. in Speers, Charleroi councilwoman Nancy Ellis said.
Organizers will distribute breakfast bowls, fresh produce, nutrition bars and handmade face masks.
