Avella High School faculty and staff members delivered baskets to each student in the district’s senior class May 21.
The faculty and staff met at the high school and then drove to each student’s house to deliver the baskets while “honking horns and waving signs,” according to Linda Gagliani, one of the school’s paraprofessional.
The event was organized by retiring home economic teacher Lesa Scammell.
“It’s all about the kids, always was and always will be,” she said of the event.
