Claysville Christian Church will hold a creamed chicken over biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 21. A love offering will be taken at the door. Take-out will be available.
A country music concert will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Aug. 21 at New Freeport Fire Hall. The bands are Gerald Postlethwait and Smokey Robinson. The admission to the show is $5. The event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.
