The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will have a star party for the Lyrids meteor shower at Mingo Creek Park observatory on April 23. Safe solar viewing will be at 6 p.m., and night sky observation will be 8:15 p.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting. Visit 3ap.org for more information.
