The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club will meet on Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Carmichaels Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting and to bring a guest. Club members will participate in a mosaic class from the Pittsburgh Glass Center with facilitator DVSSP Director of Prevention Alexandra Brooks. The South Hills Coin Club will hold its 63rd-anniversary coin show Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Pittsburgh South, 164 Fort Couch Rd. in Bethel Park, directly across from the South Hills Village. The Calvin Presbyterian Church (307 Spring Street, Brownsville) will hold a spaghetti dinner and a meatball sub dinner Feb. 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Both dinners are available for eat in or take-out. The spaghetti dinner costs $12.00 and includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and drink (if you eat in). The meatball sub dinner costs $8.00, which includes the sub, chips, pickle and drink (if you eat in). If you would like dessert with the sub dinner, it will be a dollar extra. There will also be a basket raffle and half the take.
