Upper Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 250 Buffalo Road South, Washington, is holding a free Thanksgiving community luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 12 from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome.
East Beth Volunteer Fire Company will hold a Thanksgiving Craft and Vendor Show on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show includes vendors, a 50/50 raffle and auctions. Proceeds benefit Mike Rose, a fireman at Marianna Volunteer Fire Company, who is undergoing cancer treatment. The show will be held at the fire company, 831 Crawford Road, Fredericktown.
Mon Valley Paws will hold a members-only meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at The Steel Plate, 321 Schoonmaker Ave., Monessen at 6 p.m. The election of officers for the next two years will be held, and programs for the upcoming year will be discussed. Penn Highlands Mon Valley is offering an Ostomy Support Group the third Thursday of every month. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20. The group meets from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center, 1163 Country Club Road, Monongahela. Penn Highlands Mon Valley’s Center for Wound Management offers the Ostomy Support Group for those with ostomies as well as their family and friends. There is no cost to participate.
