‘Pooch Playoffs’ to benefit Mon Valley Paws

1 min read

A Monongahela photographer is participating in this year’s “Pooch Playoffs.”

Jennifer Codeluppi of Studio 47 Portraits will photograph the first 16 dogs that are registered. Each photo session is $125 with the proceeds going to Mon Valley Paws, a local nonprofit based in Monessen with a mission centered on animal rescues.

The photographs of the dogs will be in a bracket-style competition as the dogs vie for the title of Pittsburgh’s “Ulti-Mutt Cutie.” The online voting rounds will begin at the end of March. Each bracket winner advances to the next round, leading up to the crowning of the 2026 champion.

Pet owners interested in entering their dogs can visit: www.studio47portraits.com/2026-pooch-playoffs to complete the entry form. Studio 47 portraits will follow up directly to schedule portrait sessions.
