A specially designed black and gold quilt made by the Martha Washington Quilters Guild of Washington will be presented by Neighborhood Ford Store at Sunday’s Steelers’ Crucial Catch game to highlight breast cancer awareness. The quilt, a project in cooperation with Quilt for the Cure Supported by Neighborhood Ford Store, is made from squares decorated by the public to support and comfort breast cancer patients in treatment. After the presentation, the quilt will be donated for display at Washington's UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. The quilt was displayed during Oglebayfest last weekend in Wheeling, W.Va. Pictured, Martha Washington Quilters Guild President Terry Crawford, left, and Quilt for the Cure Director Mike DeArdo, hung the quilt in an area dedicated to breast cancer awareness.
