Donora man dies after being hit by train
A Donora man died early Tuesday morning after he was struck by a train.
According to Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco, Cody David Kimmel, 30, was hit near 65 E. First St. in Donora at about 11:40 p.m. Monday.
Kimmel was transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:37 a.m.
The cause and manner of death have not been determined, according to the coroner.
Donora police and the Norfolk Southern Railroad police are investigating.
