More than 100 people turned out March 30 to celebrate the launch of Mon Valley Living magazine, the newest addition to the Observer Publishing Co.’s family of publications, at the River House Cafe in downtown Charleroi. Invited guests included members of the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce, as well as elected officials and other Mon Valley business leaders. Among the celebrated guests was magazine “cover guy” and the Mon Valley’s newest celebrity, Tony Bottino, president of the Monongahela Area Chamber, whose autograph was in great demand during the evening. Entertainment was provided by Terry and Dave’s Acoustic Duo.
