Man arrested: Richard Edward Vannorman, 48, no address given, was arrested at 4:02 a.m. Sunday for public drunkenness after he was found walking through people’s yards on Wades Run Road, state police said.

Crash: A driver complained of pain but refused treatment following a two-vehicle crash at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in Rices Landing, state police said. Police said Keith Neroni, 35, of Rices Landing, was pulling out from a stop sign to turn left when a vehicle driven by Robert Shaffer, 27, of Clarksville, approached from behind. Shaffer’s vehicle skidded and hit the driver’s side door of Neroni’s vehicle. Shaffer, who was not wearing a seat belt, complained of pain to his side but declined treatment. Both Shaffer and Neroni were asked to submit to blood tests for possibly driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Tires stolen: Two rear wheels were stolen from a vehicle parked behind 628 E. High St. between 2 a.m. and 8:27 a.m. Monday, Waynesburg police said. The vehicle is owned by Jessica Johnston of Waynesburg.

Vehicles vandalized: The windows on three vehicles on Huffman Street were damaged over the weekend, Waynesburg police said. The windshield was cracked on a 2002 Subaru owned by Courntey Dennis of Waynesburg between Friday and Monday, police said. Two other vehicles nearby had rear windows shattered between 7:30 and 11 p.m. Sunday. They were a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Thomas Heeter and a 2004 Subaru owned by Jason Rush. Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call Waynesburg police at 724-627-8113.
