Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge John DiSalle were:
Robert D. Clutter, 48, of 1207 1/2 W. Wylie Ave., Washington; first driving under the influence offense; charged June 11 following a traffic stop on Interstate 70, refusing blood-alcohol content testing; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $100 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Derek A. Zuzek, 21, of 207 Linden Creek Road, Canonsburg; first DUI offense, disorderly conduct; charged July 5 following a two-vehicle accident on Pike Street in Canonsburg with a 0.10 percent BAC; sentence – 6 months of probation, $400 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation.
Justin M. Wherry, 32, of 218 Quail Run Road, Venetia; first DUI offense; charged July 17 on Bower Hill Road in Venetia with a 0.185 BAC; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail, $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Giovanni M. Vigliotti, 22, of 393 Pike Run Road, Apt. C, Daisytown; first DUI offense; charged Aug. 2 following a traffic stop on Route 2037 in Fallowfield Township with a 0.095 BAC; sentence – 6 months of probation, $300 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.
John P. Summers, 41, of 512 Park Ave., Monongahela; second DUI offense, driving with a suspended DUI-related; charged Jan. 8 following a traffic stop on West Main Street in Monongahela, no BAC listed; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 9 months on electronic home monitoring and 90 days on SCRAM, $2,500 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Boyd E. Stevenson, 44, of 308 1/2 Meadow Ave., Charleroi; second DUI offense; charged May 22 on Second Street in Charleroi with a 0.16 BAC; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and 90 days on SCRAM, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
John J. Kosharsky, 28, of 2680 Diane Drive, Washington; two first DUI offenses, driving with a suspended license; charged on June 15 on West Walnut Street in Washington with a 0.186 BAC and on July 15 following a traffic stop on West Pike Street in Chartiers Township with a 0.151 BAC; sentence – 45 days to 6 months in jail, $1,700 in fines, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Robert D. Eckels, 45, of 959 Old Ridge Road, Avella; second DUI offense; charged June 12 on Jefferson Avenue in Washington with a 0.226 BAC; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring and 90 days on SCRAM, $1,500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.
Brian J. Johnson, 40, of 200 Ninth St., Apt. 2, Monongahela; second DUI offense; charged July 27 following a traffic stop on West Main Street in Monongahela with a 0.16 BAC; sentence – Intermediate Punishment Program for 6 months with the first 60 days on electronic home monitoring and 30 days on SCRAM, $750 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Daniel J. Garner, 25, of 450 Allison Ave., Washington; first DUI offense; charged June 28 following a traffic stop on Franklin Street in Washington with a 0.108 BAC; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail, $500 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment, driver’s license suspension.
Six people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program for 12 months for first DUI offenses. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged.
They were: Donovan R. Schofield Jr., 24, of 1808 Coursin St., McKeesport; Dawn M. Lucero, 32, of 470 Chartiers Run Road, Canonsburg; Robert C. Reintgen, 29, of 7 Laurel Ave., Washington; Michael B. White, 29, of 223 Elm St., Washington; Questa T. Giles, 33, of 1323 Fayette Ave., Donora; and Kassandra J. Retos, 27, of 103 Lemoyne Ave., Washington.
