Armed robbery: A man with a handgun robbed the BFS Truck Stop in Mt. Morris at 9:20 p.m. Dec. 20, state police said. Police said a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man fled in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash. No further information was available Wednesday.Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call state police at 724-627-6151.

Car damaged: State police said a 2000 Honda Civic parked on Locust Avenue in Mt. Morris was “intentionally” damaged between 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 4:30 a.m. Dec. 17. The car is owned by Chad Smitley of Carmichaels.
