Students of month
WAYNESBURG – Waynesburg Central High School seniors Addie Pazzynski and David O’Donoghue have been selected as Waynesburg Lions Club’s students of the month for October.Pazzynski, daughter of Frank and Lisa Pazzynski of Huffman St., Waynesburg, maintains a 3.957 grade-point average.She is president of the National Honor Society, vice president of Youth Alive, vice president of the choral union, a member of SADD, drama club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.She is a member of the Greene Community Church of Waynesburg where she is a member of the worship band.She has received the Spanish Excellence Award, history award and Scholastic Art and Writing merit awards.Pazzynski plans to attend a four-year college or university and major in education with a possible minor in vocal performance.O’Donoghue, son of Kelly and Brad Mackley and the late David Bryner, N.West St., Waynesburg, maintains a 3.92 grade-point average.He is a member of the National Honor Society, Academic League, stage crew, debate, president of Youth Alive and The Future is Mine.He has received various academic awards, went to the national level in the fine arts program and received a PSSA gold medal.He is a member of the First Assembly of God, Waynesburg, where he is a member of the youth group.O’Donoghue plans to attend a four-year college or university but is undecided on a major.
