Fort Pitt work planned

Work to inspect the inbound (eastbound) Fort Pitt Bridge (Interstate 376) in Pittsburgh will occur Sunday, weather permitting.

The right lane on eastbound I-376 (Parkway West) will be closed through the Fort Pitt Tunnel across the upper deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday.

SAI Consulting Engineers will conduct the work to inspect the bridge arches and suspension cables.

Work has been canceled in the outbound Liberty Tunnel.
