Canonsburg man faces charges

1 min read

A Canonsburg man had two sets of criminal charges filed against him last week at the office of District Judge David Mark stemming from separate incidents.

State police charged Joseph Michael Adams, 38, of 350 1/2 W. Pike St., with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on the wrong side of the road stemming from a Feb. 9 traffic stop on West Pike Street. The trooper spotted him driving erratically. Adams’ blood alcohol level was almost four times the 0.08 limit presumed for intoxication.

Canonsburg police charged him with theft and fraudulently altering a document after he allegedly stole a license plate from a NAPA delivery truck on March 9 and put the sticker on his vehicle.

The charges will be sent by summons from Mark’s office.
