1 min read

The state Department of Transportation along with the Pennsylvania American Water Company is announcing work to relocate a waterline on Route 19 (Washington Road) in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, will begin Monday night, weather permitting.

Crews from Golden Triangle Construction Company, Inc. of Imperial, PA, under a contract with PAWC, will be relocating about 300 feet of water line between the Gilkeson/Connor roads intersection and Terrace Drive.

The northbound lanes of Route 19 will be closed while the work occurs. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction shifted into the southbound lanes from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday nights through Saturday.

The work is necessary in advance of an upcoming PennDOT improvement project on Route 19 from Gilkeson/Conner roads to Alfred Street.
