3rd heist occurs at Clarksville store
For the second time in a little over two weeks, a robber has hit a store in Morgan Township.
State police say a man entered Muhly’s Little Store at 137 Center St. in Clarksville about 8:45 a.m. Sunday, displayed a firearm in his waistband and demanded money.
Muhly’s Little Store is just yards from a bridge separating Greene and Washington counties. The robber fled with the cash from the register and was seen running across the bridge into East Bethlehem Township.
The robber was described as white, about 5-foot-8, with thin build, in his late teens or early 20s. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
On March 30, a man of similar description wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a dark mask and sunglasses, robbed the same store and fled on foot in an unknown direction, though no gun was seen in that incident. On the evening of Nov. 27 last year, the store was robbed at gunpoint. The robber again fled on foot. Police did not provide a description for this incident nor the direction he fled.
