Decomposed remains found behind Ohio school

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say they found human remains in a wooded area behind a Columbus elementary school.

Investigators say the bones were discovered Friday afternoon behind a fence near East Linden Elementary School.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the remains were taken to the Franklin County coroner’s office.

The person’s gender could not immediately be determined.
