4 women, 1 boyfriend face charges in fight at McDonald bar
Four women face assault charges stemming from a fight earlier this month at a McDonald bar, borough police said.
The boyfriend of one of the women also faces charges including driving under the influence of alcohol.
Tamera L. Mersing, 47, and Lori Constance Zeneski, 40, both of Oakdale; Kari Cook, 35, of 1065 Stewart Road, McDonald, and Meighan Brittaney Carter, 26, of 19 Independence Road, Avella, were charged with simple assault and harassment stemming from the April 14 fight at Hart’s Restaurant, 112 Third St.
Mersing, Cook and Zeneski are accused of assaulting Carter inside the ladies room at the bar. Carter is accused of biting Mersing and Cook. She told police that she did it in self-defense.
Dathan Jacob Ruschell, 26, of 19 Independence Road, Avella, is charged by borough police with DUI and careless driving after he allegedly was seen by an officer spinning his tires and throwing up gravel while leaving a parking lot. He told police that he left the bar because his girlfriend, Carter, got into a fight.
Charges against all five will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Valarie Costanzo.
