Chartiers Township man arrested by Task Force on drug charges
A Chartiers Township man was arrested by members of the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force after he allegedly was found with 17 grams of suspected crack during a compliance check.
Davoun Darnell Fuse, 32, was taken into custody about 7 a.m. Tuesday after the state parole compliance check. Chartiers Township police and members of the task force were called to assist.
In addition to the suspected crack, investigators said they found $3,086 in Fuse’s pants pocket.
On Monday, police were called to Fuse’s home by his wife, Tracy Fuse, for a suspected burglary. She returned home to find several items broken inside the house. Police said Fuse arrived and told them he had broken the items because he was angry.
Earlier this month, Fuse was stopped by Washington police after he was seen going the wrong way on a one-way street.
A passenger, Kinsey L. Dean, 25, of 275 N. Franklin St., Washington, was arrested on drug charges after police said they spotted a bag of suspected crack on the seat of the vehicle where she had been sitting. Four large bags of the suspected drug were found in her pants, and a digital scale was found in her bra, police said.
Fuse was arraigned before District Judge David Mark on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver crack and possession of paraphernalia. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for May 1 before Mark.
