PennDOT announces work schedule
Greene County Maintenance Manager Jerome Simkovic announced the following tentative work plan for the week of April 22.
All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
• Base repair activities on Route 18 (Browns Creek Road),Washington Township.
• Bridge flushing/deck maintenance conducted on Route 19, Perry Township and on Route 88, Dilliner area, Dunkard Township.
• Crack sealing and litter/debris cleanup conducted on selected lane miles of Route 21, West Roy Furman Highway.
• Litter pick up on Route 21 from Jacobs Run Road, Center Township to the West Virginia state line in Richhill Township.
• Bridge maintenance and repair conducted on Route 188, Jefferson Road, Jefferson Township.
• Boom mowing and brush cutting conducted on Route1003, Porter Street, Franklin Township.
• Shoulder cutting and grading to be completed on Route 1017, Kovalcheck Road; Route 1008 Crucible and Carmichaels Road, Cumberland Township.
• Slide repair continues on Route 2003, Buckeye Road, Perry Township. Road is closed.•
• Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and complaints will be addressed on various state routes throughout Greene County.
