One injured: James Hutchison, 27, of Washington, was slightly injured Saturday night when his vehicle struck the rear of an oncoming car on Courtson Hill road near Bash Lane, Amwell, then struck an embankment and rolled over, state police said.

Mischief, disorderly charges: Patrick Walker, 21, of Hamburg, Berks County, will be charged by California police with criminal mischief, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he allegedly damaged a restroom stall at J Coles Inn, 334 Second St., early Sunday. Damages were estimated at more than $1,700. Police said he was very intoxicated. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Two charged: Toria Lapiska, 18, of Monessen, and Lance Lyons, 18, of Perryopolis, each face charges stemming from an incident early Wednesday in the 300 block of Liberty Street, California police said. Lapiska will be charged with possession of paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and underage drinking after suspected marijuana and smoking devices were found in her purse, police said. Lyons will be charged with underage drinking.

iPod stolen: Linda Beth Dodson of McMurray told Chartiers police Friday her son’s Apple iPod Touch was stolen from his backpack while he was at Western Area Career and Technology Center.

Vending machine entered: Two men in an older model green Mercury Sable or Ford Taurus reportedly broke into the soft drink machine at Charles Amoco on Pike Street in Houston Monday, police said.

Five-vehicle crash: One person was slightly injured about 5:30 p.m. Monday in a five-vehicle, chain-reaction crash at the south junction of Interstate 79 and Interstate 70 in South Strabane Township. State police said a vehicle driven by April Drap, 31, of Claysville, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Steve Quickel, 48, of Wheeling, W.Va., causing the chain-reaction crash. The other drivers were identified as Timothy Monroe, 52, of Triadelphia, W.Va., Alison Ryan, 24, of Springdale, and Karen Lockoski, 55, of Washington. A passenger in Ryan’s vehicle, Jules Crupe, 39, of Benwood, W.Va., was slightly injured. Drap, Monroe and Ryan all will be cited by state police with failure to drive at a safe speed.

Driver cited: Benjamin Brown, 58, of Dearborn, Mich., will be cited by South Strabane police with driving with a suspended license after the rig he was driving knocked over a utility pole in the 2000 block of North Main Street, pulling down wires Tuesday afternoon. Police said Brown refused to provide information to the township fire department.

Woman arrested: Heather M. Ritsko, 38, of Erie, was arrested Tuesday by South Strabane police on charges of retail theft and criminal trespass for allegedly stealing items valued at $85 from Sam’s Club, Trinity Point. Police said she had been given a trespass notice banning her from the store in 2011. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Drug arrest: Keith Anthony Rosario, 22, no known address, was arrested late Tuesday on a warrant obtained by state police for allegedly selling to cocaine to a confidential informant June 1, 2011, in the parking lot of Jollick Manor, Washington. He was arraigned before District Judge Gary Havelka on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver cocaine. He was placed in the Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.
