A Texas man was injured in a one-vehicle crash early Tuesday on Route 136 near Preston Road, Somerset Township.

State police said Ryan D. Anzelmo, 41, of Waxahachee, was driving west when his vehicle went off the right side of the road. His vehicle then crossed into the eastbound lane, hit an embankment and rolled over. Anzelmo was pinned under his vehicle.

Police said they could smell an alcoholic beverage on him while he was being treated by ambulance personnel. A charge of driving under the influence of alcohol is pending toxicology tests.

Anzelmo was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was in fair condition Tuesday afternoon.
