Couple robbed, shot after visiting ATM
CLAIRTON, Pa. (AP) — Police were searching for two suspects charged with robbing and critically wounding a western Pennsylvania couple as they returned home from an early morning stop at an automatic teller machine.
Twenty-two-year-old Parrish Linnen and 17-year-old Taevon Carr, have been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery other crimes in the incident about 2 a.m. Thursday in Clairton, where both men also live.
Allegheny County police say the two men charged, and a third suspect, approached a 42-year-old man and 30-year-old woman and shot both in the head and chest after both refused to surrender their money. The names of the victims were not immediately released.
Carr is being charged as an adult, despite his age.
