Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Appearing before Judge Katherine Emery were:
Joshua A. Matthews, 26, of 465 Donnan Ave., Washington; delivery of a controlled substance; charged Feb. 22, 2012; sentence – 18 months of probation.
Shawn W. Burnette, 26, of 745 Addison St., Washington; criminal trespass; charged Feb. 5; sentence – 3 years of probation with intensive supervision, restitution to be determined.
Ledean M. Williams Sr., 33, of 68 Sumner Ave., Washington; two counts of recklessly endangering another person; charged Dec. 14; sentence – 12 months of probation, anger-management counseling.
Justin L. Martin, 33, of 3517 Fifth St., Dunbar; retail theft; charged Feb. 13, 15 and 25; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, ordered to pay $1,196 in restitution, no contact with Walmart.
Kevin L. Catlin, 54, of 448 N. Main St., Apt. 6, Washington; retail theft; charged June 4; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail with the first six months on home monitoring with intensive supervision, 100 hours of community service.
Ryan E. Ellis, 23, of 31 1/2 E. Hallam Ave., Washington; simple assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, tampering or fabricating evidence; charged Nov. 2, 2011, and Aug. 7, 2012; sentence – 3 to 23 months in jail with work release, followed by 12 months of probation.
Vendell Nasir III, 20, of 384 Hancock St., Washington; receiving stolen property, flight to avoid apprehension; charged Oct. 12; sentence – 6 to 23 months in jail, 50 hours of community service.

Jeremiah Bartolozzi, 39, of 27 Hiview Lane, Finleyville; conspiracy to receive stolen property, receiving stolen property, weapons charge, possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 6 and June 25, 2012; sentence – 30 months of probation, $4,500 restitution, no contact with victim or codefendant.
Nathan D. Eslep, 36, of 190 Moger Drive, Washington, was admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for 12 months for a first offense of DUI. If he successfully completes the program, he can petition the court to have his record expunged.
