• Action: The board of supervisors voted to amend a previously standing ordinance relating to the municipality’s occupancy permit process. The code enforcement officer can no longer issue a certificate of occupancy until an applicant provides proof that the building is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws.

The amendment made a specific reference to a tap-in requirement in the township’s sewerage-connection code.

Supervisors also voted to allocate $20,000 from natural gas impact fees to Avella Volunteer Fire Department.
