A free first-time archery program will be held today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ryerson Station State Park. The program is for anyone who is interested in archery. All the equipment is provided through a grant from the PA Parks and Forest Foundation, the Friends of Ryerson Station and Joe Riggs Sporting Goods. For more information, call 724-428-4254.

Chess Cemetery Ghost Hike, will take place at Ryerson Station State Park today from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Naturalist Jared McGary will share ghost stories from the park and lead visitors on a hike to see this old cemetery. There is no charge. Hikers will meet at the park office.

Friends of Ryerson will be hanging wooden duck boxes, constructed by a local Girl Scout Troop, Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. Anyone who would like to help hand the boxes can contact the park office at 724-428-4254.
