2 men load western Pa. gas store ATM into pickup

MOUNT PLEASANT – State police are trying to find two men who used a pickup to drag an automatic teller machine out of a gas station convenience store in western Pennsylvania, and then drove away with it.

Troopers from the Uniontown barracks say the incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at Speedy Meedy’s, a BP store near Mount Pleasant, about 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

Surveillance video shows the men pulling open the store’s doors and then using the vehicle to pull the machine outside, where they loaded into the dark-colored, short-bed pickup before driving away.

Police say both men were wearing long-sleeves, jeans, masks and gloves to avoid identification.
