Sheriff’s fugitive unit arrests two women

Members of the Washington County sheriff’s fugitive unit arrested two women Thursday, one on a warrant from Blair County and the other for having a loaded gun despite a felony conviction.

Sharon Reigh, 43, and Tiffany Noel Ryan, 37, were taken into custody at 338 Burton Ave., Washington, by deputies.

Deputies learned that Reigh was at the residence and were serving the warrant for failure to pay restitution in Blair County.

The deputies were allowed into the home and spotted the loaded handgun in the living room where both women were sitting.

Deputies found fire more loaded handguns as well as a rifle in a bedroom of the home.

Reigh was placed in Washington County Jail on the warrant as well as a probation detainer. Ryan was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on a charge of a felon not to possess a firearm.

She was placed in jail on $5,000 bond as well as a probation detainer.
