A photo published Monday for the opening day of deer season with Katlyn Allison of Carmichaels sitting in a tree stand was taken on Sunday while her father, Todd Allison, was instructing her on tree stand safety. Katlyn was not actively hunting at that moment, explaining the lack of the required blaze orange clothing.
